While it’s a pleasant and sweet smell, it’s just caramel. Nothing about this candle suggests egg nog, unfortunately. It’s not a bad candle, it’s just not what I was hoping for.

This doesn’t smell like true eggnog and is pretty caramel heavy. The strength of the fragrance was also pretty light on burn.

Too much caramel!

Caramel doesn't belong in eggnog. This should be a rich milky vanilla nutmeg experience, instead it's just another caramel candle. I can't get any nutmeg at all. I took a chance when I saw the scent description that this would just be an accent note, but it truly needs to be renamed. Performance is great as always, scent is strong and the candle is cleanly burnly. I'm just disappointed in the fragrance. A true eggnog-scented candle would have filled such a gap in home fragrance for Christmas.

Interesting...

On cold sniff, my husband and I both agreed that it didn't smell like eggnog...at all. We both said it smelled like pineapple upside-down cake. Upon burning, it was more caramel and amaretto notes which was delicious. But if you're looking for a true eggnog scent, this may leave you wanting a stronger scent. But this is definitely a good gourmand scent!
